I was born and raised in Montana but I never get tired of scenes like this. When you come apon a scene like this..whether its one forrest animal or many...you hush and move slow just trying not to spook them, so you can watch them as long as possible. They are so beautiful! ...This photo was taken along Alice Creek near Lincoln, Montana, along with the Moose photo. We followered this herd a few miles along the road and at one point another moose, and the elk herd pasted each other in the thick brush.
